Essential Function:

Job Position: HR Business Partner

Purpose of the Job: To support the implementation of the Bank’s people strategy at branch and district levels by providing operational HR support and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures. The role focuses on day-to-day HR advisory, employee relations support, and HR process administration to enable business units to achieve their performance objectives.

Generic Functions:

• Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division
• Mentor and enable staffs below his /grades towards achieving their effective performance
• Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public
• Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
• Provide services as per the service level agreement
• Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per the target set
• Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank

Specific Functions:

• Support District and Branch Managers in addressing routine HR matters and operational workforce needs
• Assist in the implementation and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and Collective Agreements across assigned branches
• Provide first-level guidance to Line Managers on performance management processes and documentation requirements
• Receive and document employee grievances and workplace concerns, escalating complex cases to the Senior HR Business Partner
• Assist in disciplinary case documentation and ensure required processes and records are properly maintained
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirement:

• Qualification: BA in HRM, Business Management, Management, Public Administration or any other related field
• Experience: Three/3 years of relevant experience preferably in Banking industry of which One/1 year as officer position
