General Technician-II Full Time NEW

Purpose of the Job: To ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the Bank’s office environment by providing comprehensive installation, maintenance, and repair services for office equipment, furniture, and generators.

Generic Functions:

·       Properly maintain important files/records and avail when required

·       Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices

·       Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance.

·       Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public

·       Provide services as per the service level agreement

·       Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank

Specific Functions:

·       Develop, implement, and manage a schedule for in-house inspection, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance of office equipment and generators

·       Conduct electrical line installations for generators, ensuring safe and compliant operation

·       Recommend and manage the outsourcing of maintenance for office equipment, furniture, and generators, ensuring adherence to Bank standards and service level agreements.

·       Ensure timely delivery of maintained equipment, furniture, and generators to requesting units and provide user training on proper operation and cleaning procedures.

·       Monitor the performance of outsourced maintenance providers, verify completed work, and receive replaced/changed parts upon service completion.

·       Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, performance, and recommendations.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Qualification: Level IV or Diploma in Electrical Installation, Industrial Electricity, Electromechanical Technology, Building Electrical Installation, General Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or other closely related technical fields.
• Experience: Two (2) years of related experience preferably in banking, out of which at least one (1) year as General Technician-I or equivalent role.
