Job Summary

Administrative manager (managing the entire embassy grounds)

Main activities

The embassy’s technical steward in charge of property will, in conjunction with the Secretary General, perform the following tasks: – drafting and monitoring occupancy agreements for all properties; – setting up and monitoring maintenance and work files for all properties comprising the embassy grounds; – planning and managing work within the diplomatic campus; – preparing work reports; – collaborating on the preparation of the annual budget program, including quotes for real estate work and maintenance, and negotiating and updating contracts; – evaluating the budgets required for site maintenance and planning budgetary and technical needs; – monitoring issues related to the “green embassy” action plan; – monitoring health and safety issues, and the Single Document for the Assessment of Occupational Risks (DUERP); – managing the operation and maintenance of buildings and technical equipment; – managing site logistics: cleanliness and waste management, office layout, and furniture relocation. – First-level monitoring and control of hygiene, safety and working conditions on the site.

Required qualifications or professional experience for the position

• Qualifications and a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in technical and logistical fields. Knowledge or fluency in a local language would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the region would also be beneficial.
