Embassy of India Addis Ababa invites interested and qualified applicants for the following job positions.

India and Ethiopia have long-standing economic and commercial relations, which are centuries old and can be traced back over 2000 years of recorded history. During the Axumite Kingdom, Indian traders had links with the ancient port of Adulis in the eastern part of Ethiopia and traded silk and spices for gold and ivory.

In recent years, with the opening up of the Ethiopian economy, business ties between the two countries have grown significantly, especially in the areas of trade, investment, agriculture and infrastructure projects.

Brief Description of Duties:

Promotion of trade and commercial activities; Coordination with stakeholders; Organization of outreach programmes/events; and Support for business cooperation initiatives.

• Executive. Details regarding the vacancy are as following:
• Name of Position: Marketing Executive.
• Minimum Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university preferably with
  degree in Medical/Pharmaceuticals/Marketing/Economics.
• Skills Required: Strong communication and coordination skills; Fluent in written
  and spoken English & Amharic; Well conversant with computers and social medial
  platforms.
• Experience: Candidate with experience in trade, commerce, marketing, commercial
  activities, business development, or public relations will be preferred.
  Age Criterion: Candidate should be below 40 years.
• Starting Salary: USD 650.00
• Eligible candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply for the
