Store Keeper Full Time NEW

Job’s General Objective

To properly maintain, receive, and deliver materials upon approved documents to realize smooth running of company operation.

 Specific duties and responsibility

• Plans and organizes materials ‘warehouse overall operation.
• Receives incoming materials using receiving voucher and ensure they are in good conditions and quality is according to purchase order and specification.
• Promptly reports damages and discrepancies on order received.
• Maintains bin card for each item and record the balance following every incoming and outgoing material amount.
• Identifies discrepancies between inventory records (Bin cards) and physical counts; take appropriate action to rectify discrepancies.
• Issues materials as per approved documents using issue voucher.
• Organize the proper storage of materials in the store; place different material in the warehouse per set standard and procedure.
• Keeps store area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintains and keeps safe all store operation related document; submit all used receipt and issue vouchers to finance department.
• Closely followed up and supervise loading /unloading workers to ensure maintenance of safety and quality of material.
• Prepares weekly and monthly report on the work done.
• Participates in periodic stock taking.
• Work in a transparent manner and always keep record of all receiving and issuing of material.
• Keep the stores in a cleaned and organized manner for easy access of materials.
• Ensure that day to day activities are based on the company manual and procedure and make sure that are followed.
•  Follow the M- matrix management system i.e./she shall be responsible both to the batching plant HR and Finance manager and the Sourcing and Logistic Department at the head office of Dugda construction
• Report to matters related to day-to-day Report to the Sourcing and logistic Department (property or Warehouse unit) at the head office on matters related to the following;
• Registering and updating of materials received.
• Ensuring the proper voucher and forms are being used while receiving and issuing material.
• Compiling all the vouchers in traceable and clear manner.
• Compiling monthly report on the stock balance with all the necessary documents.

• Degree/Diploma in Management or related Field
