Job Summary

Essential Function

• Prepares statements of claim and defiance, declaration for affidavit and memorandum of appeal and reports the court proceeding in the form prepared for that purpose;
• Attends court cases of the bank and ensures those summonses are served to defendants;
• Initiates process of execution of judgments and follows up cases decided in favor of the bank;
• Examining defaulting borrowers files referred, request and obtains updates statement of account and
• documents;
• Prepare legal notice to borrowers/mortgagers/pledgers and follow up whether it is served or not;
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirement

• Education: Law, Any other related fields
• Work Experience: 5.5 years of experience in legal functions, preferably in banking industry.

Salary: as per the Bank’s scale

Place of Work: Addis Ababa
