Human Resource (HR) Manager Full Time NEW

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource (HR) Manager to lead and oversee our company’s people operations. The HR Manager will be responsible for workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and full compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic People Management: Develop, implement, and update human resource policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures aligned with company goals.
  
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and induction.
  
• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage workplace disputes, disciplinary procedures, and grievances in strict adherence to Ethiopian Labor Proclamation No. 1156/2019.
  
• Performance & Development: Lead annual performance evaluation cycles, identify skill gaps, and coordinate staff training and capacity-building programs.
  
• Compensation & Benefits Administration: Supervise payroll input preparation (attendance records, deductions, pension, and income tax) in coordination with the finance team.
  
• HR Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate physical and digital personnel files; produce regular HR metrics and management reports.

Job Requirements

• Education:: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, or related fields.
  Master’s Degree (MA/MBA) in a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.

• Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of general HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Knowledge & Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, tax regulations, and pension compliance.
• Proven leadership, conflict mediation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong working proficiency with HR management software, payroll tools, and MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and Amharic (both written and verbal).
