Job Description Summary
The SPIR II Community Health Facilitator will work closely with Community Facilitators and Local Facilitators and provide supportive supervision and mentoring for community volunteers to conduct effective nutrition social behavior change (SBC) through group and home visits, and through group food demonstration sessions. She also carefully documents and supports clinical referrals if necessary. She supports HEWs during HDALs counseling skills training in close collaboration HEWs. The Community Health Facilitator (CHF) establishes and maintains close working relationship with communities and community organizations, particularly with PSNP institutions and participants in her working area. She ensures that all activities related to health and nutrition are implemented in a coordinated and harmonized manner. She reports to and is supervised by MPHSS and Nutrition officers.

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement: Work in Kebeble level setting with HEWs at the Health post
Language Requirements: Fluent in Local Language (Tigrinya)
