EXTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

East Africa Agri-Business is a private company specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality teas (Black Lion Tea, Good Morning Tea, Simba Premium Tea, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Tossina Tea) and Black Lion Coffee to both local and domestic markets.

EXPECTED DUTIES

• evaluates bean quality, identifies flavor profiles, and grades coffee
• Craft espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and filter coffees to exact recipe and time standards
• Clean espresso machines, grind beans, wipe counters, empty trash, and restock inventory like cups and syrups
• Perform structured  coffee cupping sessions to analyze fragrance, aroma, acidity, body, and aftertaste
• Assess different batches, origins, and roast profiles to determine if beans meet specialty grade or brand standards.

Job Qualification

• • EDUCATIONAL STATUS:   BA Degree/ Diploma  in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Plant Science  certified In Tea and Coffee Authority Coffee Cupping Certificates, ECX Action Practice Knowledge
  • EXPERIENCE: A Minimum 4/6 year of professional experience in coffee quality control laboratory, Espresso extraction, import export grading and Coffee Shops.
  • Salary: As per the company scale
