Principal Compliance Officer

Purpose of the Job/Job Summary

The Principal Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s enterprise-wide compliance framework. The role ensures that banking operations, products, services, and business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory directives, and internal policies.

The Principal Compliance Officer conducts compliance risk assessments, regulatory reviews, monitoring activities, investigations, and advisory services while providing technical guidance to business units and supporting the Enterprise Compliance Division Manager in promoting a strong culture of compliance, ethical conduct, and regulatory adherence across the Bank.

Education Requirements 

• MA, BA Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance & related

Experience Requirement 

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which a minimum of 2 years as Senior Compliance Officer, Senior Risk Officer or equivalent.
