• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration services following RESTful or GraphQL best practices, creating robust, scalable interfaces that enable seamless connectivity between the Bank’s systems, partners, and digital channels while ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Implement API security standards including authentication (OAuth2, JWT), authorization, rate limiting, and encryption, ensuring all integration points are protected against unauthorized access, data breaches, and abuse while maintaining usability for legitimate consumers.
• Build and maintain integrations between core banking systems, digital channels, payment switches, and partner platforms by developing reliable connections using synchronous APIs, asynchronous messaging, or event-driven architectures that enable real-time data exchange and functionality sharing.
• Monitor API performance, availability, and usage patterns using API management platforms and observability tools, tracking key metrics such as response times, error rates, and traffic volumes, and proactively identifying issues that could impact service quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate with product owners, backend developers, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements, provide technical input on feasibility, and ensure alignment on implementation approaches.
• Stay updated on API design patterns, integration technologies, and industry trends through continuous learning, research, and engagement with the technical community, bringing innovative ideas and approaches to improve the Bank’s integration capabilities.

Job Requirements

• First Degree /Masters in Computer Science/Soft ware Engineering/Computer Engineering/Electrical engineering/or related fields with 10 /8 years of relevant experience of which 4/3 years in managerial position .
• • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and strong working knowledge of TypeScript
  • Deep hands-on experience with Angular (component architecture, RxJS, state management, forms, routing, dependency injection)
  • Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks, component composition, state management — Redux/Context/Zustand)
  • Proven experience with js — SSR/SSG, routing, API routes, performance optimization, and SEO considerations
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flutter/Dart for cross-platform mobile app development
  • Ability to design consistent UI/UX components/design systems that translate across web and mobile (Flutter) platforms
  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles across devices and screen sizes
  • Strong grasp of UX/UI best practices — accessibility (WCAG), usability heuristics, and human-centered design principles
  • Focus on customer journey optimization — reducing friction in key flows (onboarding, transactions, self-service)
