The Nutrition MEAL Officer position is justified by the need to ensure effective planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning within nutrition programs, particularly TSFP and other donor-funded projects. Job Purpose: The Nutrition MEAL Officer is responsible for coordinating, designing, and implementing MEAL systems for Nutrition/TSFP and other WFP-funded or other donor-funded nutrition projects within operational areas, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, quality assurance, and performance evaluation in line with World Vision standards and donor requirements. The role promotes data-driven decision-making, accountability to affected populations, and continuous learning by overseeing data collection, analysis, reporting, and utilization to improve program quality and track nutritional outcomes. Working closely with program and partner teams, the officer ensures effective implementation of the full project cycle while enhancing transparency, beneficiary feedback systems, and adaptive programming. The position also upholds World Vision’s Christian values by fostering integrity, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement in nutrition programming.
