Under the direct supervision of the Programme Support Unit (PSU) National M&E Officer, and the overall supervision of the Senior Programme Support Coordinator, the successful candidate will support the collation, analysis, and reporting of community and programmatic feedback on IOM SLO Addis Ababa Programme Office
Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the field of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning or community engagement communication works, especially within humanitarian emergency or post-emergency contexts;.Experience in facilitating AAP and Community Engagement and Communication trainings;
Experience with supervision roles for tasks of a similar nature to this assignment;
Experience working in liaison with GoE and international organizations;
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
SKILLS
In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative assessments methods, analytical, report writing and visualization and information management skills.
In-depth knowledge of AAP principles.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proven experience in Word, Excel and Power point.
Knowledge of human rights and protection principles.
Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively and persuasively present information in a variety of settings and formats.
Languages
REQUIRED
Fluency in English and knowledge of spoken Amharic is required.
DESIRABLE
Working knowledge of other local languages such as Somali or Oromifa or Tigrigna is an advantage.
