Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for supporting the overall ESG activities in the Bank. He/she supports the implementation of the Bank’s ESG agenda/strategy across business units, supporting integration into operational workflows, handling ESG data and reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable frameworks. The role also includes providing technical guidance on ESG-related risk assessments, and supporting sustainable finance product/service development. The jobholder acts as a liaison between the ESG unit and business functions to ensure effective ESG integration and compliance to ESG regulations and standards.
Job Requirement
- BA Degree in Environmental Studies, Economics, or another related field plus a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in ESG area, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Professional course in related fields (added advantage).
- Place of work: Addis Ababa (V. No HO/03966/26)
- Term of Employment :Permanent
- Salary & Benefits :As per the Bank’s Salary Scale & Benefits Package
