Job Requirement
Required qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, agricultural economics, rural development, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including NGO experience, in agricultural or livestock value chain development, market systems, and livelihoods programs
- Strong skills in value chain analysis, market assessments, business development services, SME and cooperative support, and post-harvest handling
- Proven ability to facilitate market linkages and coordinate with government, private sector, NGOs, and financial institutions
- Knowledge and experience of working with Smallholder farmers in Sidama Regions
- Language proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy in MS-Word, Excel.
- Interpersonal communication and report writing skills
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Base location: Aleta Chuko with frequent travel to Dale Woreda, Sidama Region
