Community in Action against Poverty (CAAP) is a local organization that has been officially registered by the FDRE Agency for Civil Society Organizations on December 24, 2018, under registration number 4091. CAAP works in the Somali region and focuses on responding to emergencies, development, and promote peace. CAAP’s vision is to create a poverty-free Somali regional state where women are empowered to create a resilient, inclusive, and fair future for themselves, their families, and their communities. Currently, CAAP covers 38 woredas, with a staff of over 100 staff working across the region
Job Description
Job Purpose Summary ;The Supply Chain Coordinator leads CAAP’s logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, fleet management, warehousing, and asset management. The role primarily supports WFP’s General Food Distribution (GFD) project, adhering to organizational and donor standards while fostering compliance, sustainability, and capacity development across supply chain functions. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include the percentage of purchase requests processed within procurement lead times and the percentage of goods and services sourced through framework agreements (FWA.)
