Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Designer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal module) and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing custom sheet metal components and assemblies for laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding. This role involves close collaboration with the production team to ensure all designs are practical, manufacturable, and optimized for efficiency.

Main Role and Responsibilities:

• Design custom sheet metal parts and assemblies for laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding.
• Develop flat patterns, 3D models, and fabrication drawings.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet metal module is a must).
• Strong AutoCAD skills for drawing preparation and layout adjustments.
• Knowledge of tolerances, bend allowances, and material behavior in metal design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar.
• Experience working in a fabrication workshop or related industry.
