Senor Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Full Time

Job Requirement

Major Duties:

• Prepare monitoring and evaluation plan, compile data, provide technical advice and prepare periodic reports.
• Coordinate and participate in the monitoring, evaluation and Learning activities of the Project.
• Extract lessons learned from monitoring, assessments, and evaluations for adjustment and continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure the proper use of monitoring and evaluation tools by Partners.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, reviewing relevant project documents, work plans, monitoring and evaluation framework, and other relevant documents and provide input as needed.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

• Qualification: – M.A/M.Sc, B.A/B.Sc Degree in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Economics or any other related field of study
•  Experience:   4 years for M.A/M.Sc, 8 years for B.A/B.Sc in related works. Fluency in English and Amharic.  Knowledge of additional local languages is a plus.

Skills for job positions:

• Report writing skill, proficiency in Microsoft Office, XL including publisher and skill in operating relevant office equipment.
• Data management, interpretation and analysis skills; attention to detail; expertise in SPSS is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines; and
• Fluent in English and Amharic. In addition, ability to communicate in other local languages is an asset.
• Work experience in related/similar position in NGOs is preferable.

Duty station: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Condition of employment-:  One year contract with possibility of extension based on performances and continuity of the project
