Brief Job Description

• Draft/revise regulations, directives, investment policies and background papers;
• Organize stakeholders and collect their feedbacks before issuing a new directive or revising existing directive or regulation;
• Clarify regulation and directives to internal and external stakeholders, in consultation with Chief Policy and Examination Officer;
• Assess continuously the effectiveness of issued regulation and directives;
• Require financial institutions to timely sign membership contracts and follow-up their cessation of membership;
• Prepare formats to collect data from NBE and member financial institutions;
• Participate in examination of member financial institutions;
• Prepare sectional examination reports;
• Providing feedback to complaints of member financial institutions in consultation with responsible organ of the Fund;
• Prepare recommendation to implement risk-based premium assessment, automation of premium collection and target funding ratio;
• Draft annual plan and periodic progress report of the team;
• Carry out any other duties that are within the scope of policy and fund Examination function and as requested by chief policy and Examination officer of the Fund

Job Requirement

Required Minimum Educational Qualification  and Work Experience:

• 1^st  Degree or above in Economics, Management, Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Auditing, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or Business Management.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience for 1^st  Degree or 4 years for 2^nd Degree holder, deposit insurance, in supervision of financial institutions and in core function of a financial institution.

• Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years
