Job Summery

The Senior Loan Review Officer plays a crucial role in providing technical and operational support for the examination of the Bank’s outstanding loans, advances, and financing, ensuring compliance with directives regarding uncollected interest and overall Bank adequacy. The officer is responsible for classifying loan obligations, assessing potential loss exposures within the loan portfolio, and preparing plans and reports for the Loan Review functions. Ultimately, the officer prepares summary reports and recommends prudent measures to mitigate risks, thereby ensuring both loan book growth and asset quality maintenance

Job Requirement

• Educational  and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance Management or Banking. Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience at least one (1) year on similar (Loan Review) position

COMPETENCY:

• Knowledge of various types of credit and financing risks. Good understanding of bank risks and relevant emerging issues in risk management. Knowledge of policies, regulations and directives related to Financial Sectors Risk management skills including risk assessment, evaluation, quantification, mitigation and reporting skills
