Position Title: Senior IT Program Management Officer

Job Summary
The Senior IT Program Management Officer performs assigned duties under the supervision, coaching, and direction of the immediate supervisor. The role supports the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of IT programs and projects to ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards, while aligning with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing IT programs and multiple related projects.
Support development of program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and issues, and report status to management.
Coordinate with business units, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective program execution.
Support implementation of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Assist in risk management, change management, and issue resolution activities.
Maintain comprehensive program and project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
Support testing, deployment, and transition of IT solutions into production environments.
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff involved in IT programs and projects.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
Education (Minimum):
BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT roles, preferably involving project or program management activities.
Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of IT project and program management principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with SDLC, system implementation, and change management processes.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
