Senior Accountant Full Time

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries.

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Monitor budget performance and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

• Prepare and file tax returns and manage tax-related matters.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights on cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and financial performance.

• Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance when needed.

• Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to accuracy and detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
