Job Description

• Maintains account opening register books;
• Takes the necessary care when disclosing balances or issuing documents;
• Checks and counter signs tickets and negotiable instruments;
• Handles process of local and international money transfers;
• Ensures that accounts are opened properly and the necessary details are put in to the system properly;
• Accepts cheque deposit and also delivers returned cheques to customers as per the existing procedure;
• Refers to immediate supervisor when cheques are returned for insufficient funds and register such cheques as per the NBE Directive;
• Prepares CPC’s.

Job Requirements

Qualification

1. BA Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking and Finance /Management/Economics or other related fields.

Experience

1. 1 year of Experience in Banking operations as a Customer Service Officer.
