Job Description
- The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Berlin is seeking to fill the following position:
- Position: Receptionist and Telephone Operator
- Location: Ethiopian Embassy, Berlin, Germany
- Employment Terms: Contractual for one (1) year, renewable based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the telephone switchboard and handle incoming calls.
- Greet and assist visitors at the Embassy.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of 12th grade completion, plus a Professional Training Certificate.
- Work Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience as a receptionist and telephone operator or in a related field from a recognized institution.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German, English, and Amharic (both written and spoken).
- Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Salary: In accordance with the Embassy’s salary scale.
- Number of Positions: 1 (one).
