Quality Controller Full Time NEW

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Quality Controller. East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world’s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employ people who are prepared to work with passion and focus. The position is structured to report to the respective Quality Assurance Technologist and will be responsible to monitor the quality control environment and conduct tests and analyses to control and ensure compliance with quality requirements across the Supply Chain.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Control Quality in On-site produced preforms & closures– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.
• Control Quality in Blown bottles– sampling and testing according to incoming inspection protocols.
• Non-conforming final product is segregated, isolated, and marked as per non-conforming material procedure.
• Ensure that Team boards are effectively used to communicate information about quality.
• Ensure that the RCA process is completed for all isolations and quality problems on the shift and that relevant RCA documents are completed and handed to the QAT /QAQC for sign-off.
• Safe working procedures and standards are identified and complied with.
• Personal protective equipment is used and maintained in accordance with procedures and legislation.

• First Degree in Chemistry/Chemical/Food Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
