Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Protection Assistant – Monitoring for our operations in our Assosa Field Office.
Overall purpose of the role
Under the line management of the Project Manager and the technical supervision of the Protection Specialist – Monitoring, the Protection Assistant – Monitoring is responsible for implementing protection monitoring activities in selected refugee sites and host communities in Benishangul-Gumuz and surrounding areas. The role focuses on conducting regular protection monitoring visits, collecting and encoding data, identifying and referring individuals at risk, sharing information, and reporting on emerging protection risks and trends.
The position will also identify and provide direct assistance to people with specific needs and support the implementation of other protection activities carried out by DRC in the designated project locations.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for National employees
