Job Summary
Summary of major duties
- Prepare project’s Annual procurement plan based on the given project’s annual budget, facilitate contracts signature and examine and re-evaluate existing contract agreements and report to a concerned supervisor when there are any deviations;
- Review Specification & requirements of goods/Terms of Reference before commencing the procurement process.
- Prepares bid documents, contract agreements as well as bid evaluation in accordance with guidelines of government public procurement.
- Review and submit periodic procurement status reports on timely basis.
- Coordinate and resolve problems in collaboration with procurement team with end users (requesting units) and suppliers.
- Follow up the implementation of procurement contracts in collaboration with the assigned supervisor;
- Carefully handle procurement evaluation reports and submit to Procurement Endorsing Committee; and.
- Handle any other procurement related activities as requested by the supervisor.
- Perform other duties assigned
Job Requirement
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in purchasing and supplies management, logistics or other relevant studies;
- Minimum of 3 year experience for the BA or two year experience for MA ;
- Experience as Senior Procurement Officer is a plus;
- Experience and knowledge of working on IFMIS and EGP is a plus.
