Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our tender-focused supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, managing procurement cycles, and ensuring timely, cost-effective acquisitions to support competitive tender submissions. This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in supplier management to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Management: Identify and monitor tenders from government and private entities, ensuring competitive and compliant bid submissions.
• Supplier Sourcing & Relations: Evaluate and establish partnerships with reliable manufacturers and suppliers across various industries.
• Contract Negotiation: Finalize supplier agreements (SLAs, yearly contracts) under favorable terms to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
• Tender Proposal & Documentation: Oversee the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines.
• Market Research & Price Analysis: Conduct industry research to stay updated on procurement trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier capabilities.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track vendor performance to ensure quality control, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Product Catalog Development: Coordinate the creation and maintenance of an online product catalog, showcasing specifications and technical details.

• Tender Regulations & Compliance – Strong knowledge of public and private sector procurement procedures.
• Negotiation & Vendor Management – Ability to secure cost-effective and high-quality supply agreements.
• Strategic Procurement Planning – Expertise in procurement cycles, risk management, and cost optimization.
• Financial & Budgeting Skills – Proficiency in managing procurement budgets and cost forecasting.
• ERP & Tender Management Systems – Experience with procurement software for efficient data handling.
• Multi-Project Management – Strong ability to oversee multiple tenders and supplier relationships simultaneously.
• B2B Communication & Relationship Management – Effective engagement with suppliers, stakeholders, and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or professional certification is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in procurement, focusing on tenders, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Industry Expertise: Proven ability to source and manage suppliers across multiple industries (beyond construction).
• Tech & Digital Experience: Knowledge of ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and online product catalog development.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to lead procurement projects that improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
