Under the general supervision of the Head of the Production Services, and the direct supervision of the printing supervisor of the Unit, he/she will be responsible for the following duties:
•Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Digital Press, organizes and co-coordinates the work of a particular shift with a view to ensuring the timely production of official documents and publications.
•Ensures digital printing equipment, multi-color printing machine(s), single-color printing machine(s) and other print finishing machines are operated in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in publishing, digital printing, management/business administration or related fields is desirable.

A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in production environment or digital printing is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Knowledge of documents management workflow and advanced repair and maintenance are desirable. 1 year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Evaluation of qualified candidates may include a substantive assessment which may be followed by a competency-based interview.
