Principal – Database Engineer Full Time NEW

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for the design, capacity, efficiency, security, scalability and availability of the overall database systems within the Bank, participate the effort to build, implement and support the data infrastructure. S/he adapts quickly to change in requirements and be willing to work with different technologies if required.  Plays critical role in the development, adherence, and enforcement of security standards and policies. To design logical and physical databases or reviews description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database.

Qualification & Experience

• BSc Degree in Information Technology and related fields plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Database management and banking areas.
• Master’s in IT related field (an added advantage)
• Certified on Oracle 19c Certified Professional – OCP (Mandatory)
• Certified on IBM Db2 Administration for Database Professionals v11.5 (an added advantage)
