Under the overall supervision of the Resident Representative (RR), Deputy Resident Representative – Prograammes (DRR-P) and direct supervision of the Team Leader-Partnerships Development and Results Management Hub (PDRM), the Partnerships Analyst supports PDRM hub in the overall effort to build partnerships and resource mobilization efforts. The position also supports the design, planning and management of national networks by managing data and facilitating implementation. The Partnership Analyst promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with UNDP rules and regulations. The Partnerships Analyst works in close collaboration with operations, communication and programme teams in the CO and UNDP HQs for resolving partnerships and programme-related issues and information delivery.
UNDP has a plan to strategically engage with multiple donors and broaden its partnership base in the coming five years as part of its next country programme strategy. Given the complexity of involving with several partners, establishment and maintenance of effective donor relations is indispensable for successful implementation of the CO programme and projects. UNDP adopts a portfolio approach to accommodate changing business needs and leverage linkages across interventions to achieve its strategic goals. Therefore, UNDP personnel are expected to work across units, functions, teams, and projects in multidisciplinary teams in order to enhance and enable horizontal collaboration. To this end, UNDP Ethiopia is seeking to recruit a qualified expert to identify, establish, and promote partnership with development partners and promote resource mobilization for the office.
