Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, Procurement and Facilities Management Department, the Manager, Procurement Division is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all procurement activities of the Bank. The role ensures the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in alignment with institutional requirements and operational priorities. The Manager oversees the implementation of procurement policies and procedures, ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and promotes transparency, accountability, and value for money in all procurement processes. The position also provides strategic leadership to the procurement function to support timely service delivery and effective resource utilization across the Bank.
Job Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management/ Logistics and Supply Chain Management/ Management or other closely related fields.
- For Master’s degree holders: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience preferably in the banking industry, of which 2 years in a principal officer positions or 3 years in senior officer positions.
- For Bachelor’s degree holders: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience preferably in the banking industry, of which 3 years in a principal officer positions or 4 years in senior officer positions.
