Login to Send MessageWe are seeking a talented and strategic Manager to lead our Consumer Insight and Analysis team. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the commercial success of our Consumer Business Unit (CBU). Your primary focus will be to drive data-driven decision-making, identify market trends, and develop strategies to enhance customer value and retention. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Pricing, CVM, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure a holistic approach to commercial success.
Role purpose:
The Manager – Business Analyst performance is responsible for driving commercial decision-making, revenue growth, and customer value optimization across the Consumer Business Unit (CBU). The role partners closely with Pricing, CVM, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Network teams to translate performance trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics into clear commercial actions.
The role focuses on business performance management, commercial insights, planning support, and execution tracking, ensuring that CBU initiatives deliver sustainable revenue growth, improved retention, and stronger customer engagement.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DECISION OWNERSHIP
Commercial Performance Management
• Own and drive end-to-end CBU commercial performance tracking, ensuring alignment to revenue, usage, and growth targets.
• Identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective commercial actions.
Customer & Revenue Growth Insights
• Analyze customer value, usage behavior, churn drivers, and product performance from a commercial lens.
• Support pricing, CVM, and campaign strategies with insights that improve ARPU, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Planning, Forecasting & Business Reviews
• Lead the monthly CBU performance review in close collaboration with Planning and Forecasting teams.
• Support annual operating plans, forecasts, and rolling outlooks with fact-based performance insights.
• Track performance against plans and highlight variances with clear commercial implications.
• Track all commercial campaigns and in-life changes, monitoring performance against planned targets, assumptions, and expected impact.
• Provide early warnings on underperforming campaigns and recommend corrective actions in partnership with CVM, Pricing, and Marketing teams.
CBU Reporting & Executive Communication
• Coordinate with cross-functional CBU teams to deliver consolidated CBU commercial performance reports.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for senior leadership and ExCo, translating data into business decisions and actions.
Commercial Process Optimization
• Lead automation and simplification of recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting requests.
• Improve speed-to-insight and decision turnaround for commercial stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Commercial Partnership
• Act as a strategic partner to Pricing, CVM, Sales, Marketing, Finance, BI, and Revenue Assurance teams.
• Ensure insights directly influence product design, offer strategy, channel performance, and customer journeys.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead and develop a high-performing commercial insights team.
• Build strong business acumen within the team, ensuring outputs are commercially relevant and action oriented.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Demonstrated impact on CBU revenue growth, retention, and ARPU improvement.
Effectiveness of monthly CBU performance reviews and decision follow-through.
Quality and timeliness of commercial performance reporting to senior leadership and ExCo.
Adoption and usage of commercial dashboards by business teams.
Strength of collaboration and influence across Pricing, CVM, Finance, BI, and Revenue Assurance.
Team capability development and delivery consistency.
Compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
