Junior Accountant Full Time NEW

Job Description:

Akoya Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of accounting experience and will be responsible for assisting with various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies.
• Support the monthly close process and ensure timely reporting.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist in payroll preparation and administration.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to enhance reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in accounting.
•  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
•  Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
