The IS Security Administrator is responsible for managing and securing the Bank’s IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls, and security appliances. The role ensures system hardening, access control, and compliance with information security policies.
Configure and manage firewalls (Fortinet, Check Point)
Administer routers, switches, and network security devices
Implement access control policies and user privilege management
Monitor network performance and security logs
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and Zero Trust principles
Conduct vulnerability scanning and patch management
Perform system backup and disaster recovery support
Maintain documentation of network and security configurations
Provide technical support for security-related issues
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching
Hands-on firewall configuration and troubleshooting
Experience with network segmentation and VPN configuration
Understanding of risk assessment and security governance
Strong documentation and reporting skills
