The HR Intern is responsible for implementing day-to-day HR routine activities at Medical Teams Abala field Office. The position holder is expected to be energetic, disciplined, responsible female applicant to work under Human Resource department.
JOB RESPONSIBITIES
● Maintain personnel and confidential files for active and terminated employees.
● Fill out employment and other HR forms.
● Facilitate staff medical insurance.
● Scanning, copying & archiving of all HR related documents.
● Answer the office phone and take calls or messages.
● Assist in preparation for HR events and work the events as necessary (orientations, employee fair well, employee parties, etc.)
● Maintain a professional image.
● Assist in other departments as needed.
● Closely working with HR Officer & other HR team to support HR related issues.
● Any other HR related tasks as required and assigned.
● Only zero years of work experience required
● Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. Incumbents will remain alert and responsive to any child and adult safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child and adult safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding.
● Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position requires frequent travel to health facilities located in remote areas with very basic living conditions.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTFICATION
● Minimum BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration and other related social science fields of study from a recognized higher education institution
● Only Female Graduates of 2014 or 2015 E.C

● Only zero years of work experience required

● Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management

SKILLS
● Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
● Ability to work in a team environment.
● Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
● Skilled in communication
● Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
● A good command of both written and spoken Amharic and English.
ABILITIES
● Ability to act with integrity and ensure security and appropriate use of assets.
● Ability to maintain detailed records with high accuracy.
● Ability to support MTI Calling and adhere to the MTI Code of Conduct
