Finance Service Head Full Time NEW

Job Summary:

The Finance Service Head is responsible for leading the institution’s financial operations, ensuring sound financial planning, compliance, and strategic financial management to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Oversee preparation of accurate financial reports and statements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial policies (especially in MFI sector)
• Manage and supervise the finance team
• Develop and implement financial strategies
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial risks
• Strengthen internal control systems

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BA Degree in Accounting & Finance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years in a senior accountant role at MFI head office
• Core banking system experience is an advantage
• Strong leadership and analytical skills

Location: Bahir Dar
Salary: 50,000 ETB + allowances
