TEAM PURPOSE: The Team bring excellence as finance partner for Oxfam Gambella Field office with provision of value-adding support to all stakeholders. To ensure strong stewardship role in resources management; support in the achievement of program effectiveness; deliver efficient, cost effective and quality operations, and technical/professional advice and expertise to develop and implement Oxfam’s strategic roles. JOB PURPOSE: The Finance Officer supports the Finance Team in various accounting activities daily. This includes review of financial documents and making sure payments are supported with appropriate source documents; preparation and processing of documents for payment, review and coding of financial information and Journal entries as appropriate; assisting in data entry into the system, and maintenance of appropriate finance documentation after verifying all source documents for proper approval. | |
