Finance Head Full Time NEW

THE ROLE: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Head to lead and manage the overall financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and compliance functions while ensuring strong financial control and transparency. The Finance Head will play a key strategic role by providing financial guidance to senior management, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring efficient utilization of organizational resources.

Job Requirement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Education: MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting. At least 3 years of experience in a senior or managerial position. Experience in NGO/Private sector/Church institution (adjust as appropriate) is an advantage. Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management standards. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills and Knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in Amharic is required.
