Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Entry-Level Full-Stack Developers to join the Oromia Science and Technology Authority (OSTA) team. In this role, you will contribute to building innovative web applications, working on both frontend and backend development while gaining hands-on experience in coding best practices, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Contribute to backend API development using Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.

• Implement frontend features with technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Debug and resolve issues in existing applications; collaborate with designers and other team members.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Required Qualifications and Skills

● Education:

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related fields.

• Cumulative Grade Point (CGPA): Minimum 2.8 and above.

● Experience:

• 0 years (entry-level; fresh graduates).

● Technical Skills:
Frontend Proficiency:

• React.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Vue.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Angular, JS, SCSS, Next.js, Figma, Storybook.

Backend Proficiency:

• Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Ruby on Rails.

General Proficiency:

• HTML, CSS, ES6+, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.

Additional Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), microservices architecture; exposure to Git and version control (GitHub/GitLab), and open-source contribution workflows.
