About the Role:

Abbay Tv is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician with strong hands-on experience to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will handle electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of all studio and office electrical systems to ensure smooth broadcasting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Support studio and broadcasting equipment with stable and safe electrical connections.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in offices, studios, and technical rooms promptly.
• Inspect and test electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical panels, sockets, UPS, and power backup systems.
• Assist with electrical setups for production shoots, live shows, and outdoor events.
• Keep maintenance logs, safety checklists, and report completed work.
• Collaborate with technical and facility teams to ensure uninterrupted station operation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma/TVET Certificate in Electricity or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of proven practical experience in electrical installation and maintenance
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
