Job Summary

The Cyber Attack Analyst is responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats targeting the Bank’s information systems, networks, and digital infrastructure. The role ensures proactive threat intelligence, incident response, and continuous security monitoring.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and SOC tools

• Detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents

• Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments

• Perform digital forensics and root cause analysis

• Execute penetration testing and security assessments

• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks

• Analyze malware and suspicious activities

• Prepare security incident reports and risk assessments

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement remediation measures

• Ensure compliance with international security standards and best practices

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS

• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools

• Understanding of attack vectors, exploit techniques, and cyber kill chain

• Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to incidents quickly

Job Requirements

• Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience: B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Information Science/Systems or MIS or Electrical and Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related fields with 6 years of related work experience. Mandatory certifications include CompTIA Security+, CySA+, PenTest+, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, and GIAC certifications (GCIH, GCIA). Holding CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certifications is advantageous.
