While the bulk of operations continue to address the immediate short-term needs of refugees, internally displaced persons and other food-insecure and undernourished people, there is a gradual expansion and intensification of resilience and livelihood diversification initiatives at the humanitarian–development–peace nexus.
JOB PURPOSE: Under the overall supervision of the Head of Hawassa Sub Office and functional leadership of the Head of Logistics and direct supervision of the Head of Fleet, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall management and oversight of all Fleet Management activities in Hawassa Logistic Hub and co-ordinate Fleet operations in accordance to the Procedures, Normative Guidelines and Business Rules as set by WFP.
