CorpsAfrica is a US-based nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by former United States Peace Corps Volunteer Liz Fanning with the aim of recruiting and training college-educated young African men and women to serve in under-resourced communities in their own countries or other African countries as “Volunteers”, to initiate and facilitate small-scale, high-impact community-led development while promoting the professional and personal development of young men and women through expert training and a transformative Volunteer experience, creating work opportunities and inspire a strong pan-African community.
CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia is seeking passionate and driven young Ethiopian University graduates to join Cohort 3 as Volunteers. I want to be a CorpsAfrica Volunteer because I believe in the mission of promoting grassroots development and supporting communities in Africa. I want to make a positive impact by contributing my skills and experience towards sustainable development initiatives. Being a CorpsAfrica Volunteer will allow me to immerse myself in a new culture, learn from the local community, and work together to address pressing social challenges.
