Job Summary

• The Digital Product Development Expert – Retail & MSME is responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of digital products tailored to Retail and MSME banking. This role involves assisting in evaluating digital product proposals from external vendors to ensure alignment with the bank’s objectives. In addition, the role holder is responsible for participating in new product development and conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in Retail and MSME sectors.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of four (4) years relevant experience

Functional/Technical Competencies

• Customer need analysis: Ability to understand the unique needs, preferences, and behaviors of different customer groups within the banking sector, categorized by demographic characteristics, geographic location, capital, and industry sectors, to develop targeted products and services.
• Product lifecycle knowledge: Understand how a banking product designed, launched, marketed, monitored, and retired.
• Product and price knowledge: Understanding the features, benefits, and pricing structures of banking products, along with methods such as competitive analysis, and cost-based pricing.
