JOB PURPOSE
The District Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the operations, staff, and performance of multiple branches within an assigned district. This role supports ZamZam Bank’s mission by ensuring Sharia-compliant banking services, fostering community relationships, and driving business growth through ethical and customer-focused practices in accordance with Islamic finance principles.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of branches in the assigned district, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Branch Managers to ensure they meet performance and operational standards.
• Analyze financial and performance reports of branches; identify trends and implement improvement plans.
• Lead and implement business development and sales strategies aligned with Islamic finance principles.
• Ensure branches are staffed, trained, and operate in a secure and customer-friendly environment.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, Sharia guidelines, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., KYC, AML).
• Support the rollout and adoption of new products and services across the district.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, and local businesses.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing escalated issues and enhancing satisfaction levels.
• Prepare and submit regular performance reports to senior management.

About You
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years (Bachelor’s) or 3 years (Master’s preferred) of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 2 years in a senior branch management or multi-branch supervisory role.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of daily banking functions, Sharia-compliant financing, deposits, and service delivery
- Understanding of local regulations, KYC, AML, and Islamic finance guidelines
- Ability to analyze financial reports and performance metrics
- Clear, respectful, and effective communication with teams and stakeholders
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service aligned with Islamic values
- Ability to build cooperative relationships and motivate staff
- Ability to align branch operations with bank-wide strategic goals
