Position: Junior Customer Service Officer
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (1st Degree) in Accounting, Management, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: No prior experience required (Fresh Graduate).
- Certifications (Added Advantage): Professional certificates in Computer Applications, Management Information Systems (MIS), or IT Fundamentals receive priority consideration.
- Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of banking operations, strong interpersonal skills, presentable appearance, team-oriented mindset, and adherence to NBE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling account openings, maintaining customer registers, and managing document custody.
- Processing counter transactions, cheque deposits, and returned cheques.
- Assisting Senior CSOs with back-office operations, daily reconciliations (ATM/POS/Merchant/Branch books), and clearing suspense accounts.
- Promoting bank products, services, and alternative digital channels.
- Supporting deposit mobilization, recruiting new clients, and building relationships with merchants and agents.
- Responding to customer inquiries while adhering to service quality standards and balance confidentiality.
Location: Under Hawasa District Branch (Dodola, Dolo Mena and Yabelo)
