Undertake various administration functions associated with the Inspector’s role, Assures the accomplishment of the vehicle technical works in the desired technical and quality standards, work closely with the Fleet Management staff to ensure accuracy of defects/reports and the rescheduling of non-serious defect rectification, Brings to the Fleet maintenance supervisor/manager/ all required information/study/ Survey for decision making, Suggest alternative way & means of rectifying complex automotive maintenance problem when arises, Keep often the safety work standards, Keep records of vehicles inspected(both ET owned & Rented vehicles), advise the company fleet Maintenance Management Team when there is unforeseen conditions that affect performance and/or service delivery of the section, Prepare and Check preventive maintenance programs, Drive all sizes of the company vehicles in connection with delivering /receiving the vehicle to/from service provider’s garage and road-testing up on the approval of fleet maintenance supervisor/manager/, Inspects and assesses the condition of all the vehicle’s essential mechanical systems and other components and identify vehicles for disposal, determine the acceptability of the report on damage claims.

Job Requirements

• Sc Degree or Level V with COC in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Stream), Automotive Technology Management or Automotive Technology and Vehicle Management.
• Experience is not required. NB:3rd grade, Public 1, dry or equivalent level driving license is Mandatory
• Specific Location:- Gambella
