Agile Delivery Manager / Senior Technical PM Full Time NEW

Job Description:

We are a well-funded urban mobility startup building a localized transport and ride-hailing platform in Addis Ababa. We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager or Senior Scrum Master to oversee complex software delivery. We are looking for technical leaders who understand the realities of software execution in Ethiopia and can effectively navigate environmental constraints, mitigate operational risks, and bridge the gap between engineering and business goals.

We highly encourage applicants with backgrounds as Software Engineers, QA Testers, Systems Analysts, Project Managers, or Scrum Masters who are ready to step into a senior delivery role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex software modules (mobile and backend).
• Proactively identify, analyze, and document project risks and operational bottlenecks.
• Bridge the gap between the software engineering team, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Develop contingency plans for infrastructure instability and resource constraints.
• Evaluate past sprint retrospectives and historical data to optimize future project lifecycles.
• Ensure product quality and end-user satisfaction without major deployment disruptions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Intermediate to senior direct experience in software projects (Minimum 2-3 years).
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, risk management, and software lifecycles.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to critically evaluate project environments and delivery metrics.
