Chinese Translator Full Time

Job Description

Sansheng Pharmaceutical PLC (SSP) is looking for a skilled and reliable Chinese Translator to join our team in Dukem / Bishoftu. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating communication between Chinese and local teams, ensuring accurate translation in both written and verbal contexts.

Location: Dukem, Bishoftu
Employment Type: Long-term (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate documents, reports, emails, and technical materials from Chinese to English and vice versa
• Provide real-time (verbal) interpretation during meetings, trainings, and site operations
• Ensure accuracy and clarity of translated content while maintaining original meaning
• Assist communication between Chinese staff and local employees
• Support administrative and operational teams with language-related tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
• Review and proofread translated materials for quality assurance

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent command of Chinese and English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• 2–3 years of proven experience in Chinese translation and interpretation
